like xanga, if there was a way to reply to a specific reply and then an email is sent when someone replies.

One concern is that a vendor could use this feature to spam others... any thoughts on how to get around that issue?

I don't know about the spam either but this is a feature I would really like since I don't like to subscribe to all the topics and if someone replies to me I don't want to be rude and not reply because I didn't see it?

I agree a Reply option might be awesome.
Maybe we can make spammers via a spam link? or report spam? -
Maybe you have to be an Olive (50 posts) to be able to have an email alert go out when you @reply someone?
