I'm on the boards alot and with new members and old threads coming back from the archives, I find myself clicking on the thread but realizing I already commented.
It would be nice to know which threads I've commented on. It would save me a lot of time... but i dont know if it would be useful to other bees.

We don't currently have an easy way to do this, so we'll have to look into it. But just for future reference: what kind of icon would work here?

I'm not sure if an icon would even be necessary, maybe treat comment and uncommented like read and unread mail in an inbox, bold for new/unread/haven't commented yet and regular font for threads you have read/commented.

I think this is a great idea. I've seen similar things in other forums and it's nice as reminders of where you've been!

i thought of the "email type of option" read / unread messages. But I think the logistics would be a little complex. As in, would it go as UNREAD if someone comments after you?

@blushink - Whether or not a thread is read would be separate from whether or not you've commented on the thread?

Ya, I guess i was looking for something a little more complex, but the unread threads might have to do.
I wanted an icon or something to say I've commented on the post... and then the unread option goes back on when someone comments after me. But like i said... it might get too overwhelming.
