When clicking on a link that a user has posted, it opens in the same tab/window that you were viewing HelloBee in. It would be nice to have both tabs/windows open at the same time.

This can be a matter of personal preference, so we've been careful about this one...
Have you tried that trick where you hold down the shift button as you click on the link? That triggers a new window! There's a similar trick with the Mac... if holding down the shift button doesn't do the trick, maybe holding down the control or Apple buttons will trigger a new window?
Let us know if that does the trick, or if you'd still like us to explore a solution here!

Interesting. I tested it out and it does open a new window. I can deal with that and am going to go look at my computer settings to see if I can get it to open in a new tab rather than window.

Oops, I just posted this: http://suggestions.hellobee.com/topic/opening-links-in-new-tabs I think it may be what she means.

You can control+click to open a link in a new tab. I actually don't like when a website automatically opens links in new tabs because usually they switch you over to the tab that you just opened. I prefer just to control+click to my heart's content : )

I like the ctrl-click option, found that after I posted the shift-click response. Sorry I didn't see your response until now, MrBee. I'm a PC user.

Totally missed this earlier when I suggested...the same thing. Anyway, thanks so much for gettin' me in the right spot @mrbee: I'll definitely keep this in mind for my future "opening in new tab" needs!

I would still love to see separate window link opening built in I always forget to shift-click!

@bluestriped bee: if you hold your finger down on a link, then a menu should appear with the option to "open in new page"!

@mrbee: oh, duh! I knew that. Well... 50% percent of the time.
While we are on that topic, is there a way to view yellow bubbles (page views)? That's another one that I miss when I'm on my iPhone.

@bluestriped bee: Not currently... we've considered tweaking it so that the first time you touch the yellow bubble (on a mobile device), a little layer appears.
Would be great if you added this as a feature suggestion!
