I'll admit that I kinda miss the 'deals' posts being on the boards. I never posted self promotion links so posting on the boards was always a great way to inform other users of great deals. But now that there's a separate 'deals' tab, I don't know if there's much traffic now that it is hidden under the 'more' tab.
Could we try to move the 'deals' tab out from the 'more' tab to see if traffic improves?

@bluestriped bee: We're definitely going to move DEALS out of MORE and into its own separate tab! Just haven't had a chance to do it yet.
We're also going to find other ways to drive traffic to the deals forum. Working on a few possible ways to achieve that... in the meantime, added the most recent Deals threads to the right sidebar!

@bluestriped bee: Your suggestion here is the first I've realized there even IS a Deals tab and that there isn't a forum for it anymore! I'm so bummed I've been missing out on seeing all the great deals because it's not on the main boards anymore.

@mrbee: Can deals be moved back to the main boards? I'm not sure what the reasoning was for moving it out, but it seems that many of us forget to look in a different location.

@MamaG: Over time, we are going to create lots of standalone boards so we can better serve the various parenting niches! In the meantime, we are looking to create a way to promote the standalone boards from the main boards page.
We're working on a few options, but haven't found the right solution yet. Once we do though, it will allow for both specialty boards and also, promotion of those boards from the main boards!
