I love the idea of buying used baby items from other members, but don't fully love the idea of classifieds because it can become messy.
And ideas how we can put items for sale? (in the future)

What if the Classifieds was setup more like a Craigslist ad where things expire after a week and are removed from the site? Or what if the person selling the items could delete their posting after their items were sold?
Mr. & Mrs. Bee, would this mess with Google searches and the traffic it would bring to the site?

We are looking into Classifieds, but would do it in a new way that would hopefully address a lot of these problems. It would be less of a message board like interface, and more of a sortable database. So if you were looking for some baby clothes in a particular size, maybe you could sort by size and/or restrict the listings to items that size or larger.
We would also want to look into a better way to remove or expire items. More details later!

I like this idea a lot. I have been buying some baby and pregnancy books recently and I'm sure I'd love to pass them off to someone else here when I'm done with them!

I feel like I already weighed in on this somewhere else, but I am pro-Classifieds! I think more people would use them if they were easier to find and search too

i'm also pro-classifieds! after the items i received today i started digging around to see what items i can post up in the future.

I'm pro-classifieds! I have a list of things I want to buy used and I scour the threads every month, but it would be cool to be able to search for specific items.

I love this idea. Perhaps a separate forum tab, and set up similarly like our threads? But also have the search option for classifieds only.
