@mrbee: more so the users telling each other what they are comfortable. It would still be on the honor system.

Someone could post 5 pics at a time and the expressed consent would apply for the lot. If the poster said all pics except ones with LOs in it are off limits. One would hope the other users respect the posters' wishes and save the other ones only.

If the poster didn't consent to usage at all the pics *could* be used, but knowing the posters request/ preference would stop someone from doing so.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: if I didn't consent to usage, would that mean that others couldn't download the images? But they could otherwise?

Or would this be more along the lines of, a way for users to let each other know what they're ok with...

Bees are bound to be inspired by other Bees' pics and may want to use them for future reference. Some pics are personal or can easily be traced back to the Bee. How about adding an expressed consent feature that accompanies pictures with posts?

Example: I posted a question regarding my kitchen floor mats and posted a pic of my kitchen. Before I click submit the expressed consent would give me options.

Bees, feel free to save or share
Bees, do not save our share or HB only pic
Bees, save or share kid-free or family-free pics

Then once the post is submitted my expressed consent would appear on the bottom.

Let's say someone posted pics of their LOs bitthday party. There are tons of photos. Some with kids and some of the dessert table or invitation blurred out with the personal info. That user may consent to use of the photos except the ones with LOs or people in it.

The same would go with responders, not just the OP.
