Facebook has a little icon with a number and when you click it, it brings a drop-down with the links to all the items (speaking strictly web-browser - I think on the phone it's probably a different page and not a drop-down). Although you guys have already probably thought of potential solutions... just figured I'd put this out there in case you needed some ideas! :D</p> <p>What if, next to where it says: "Hello Adira (posts)" you added another link with a number, like "Hello Adira (posts) (3)" where the number indicated the number of notifications. Then when you click on the number, it brings you to a Notifications page, similar to the Favorites or Subscribed pages in our profile. Whenever you get a reply, in addition to sending the e-mail (or maybe an alternative option), you add the link to the Notifications page. Then when someone clicks on the link to the thread, it could either bring them straight to the reply or to the last post read (like the current Gold feature on the main boards).
