Thanks for responding so quickly!! Makes sense! I also just found the "next" feature, so that pretty much takes care of it!! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the kind words!

As for the reason our RSS is set up like it is, there is indeed a reason. :-)

One of the tricky parts of RSS is that we are basically publishing a downloadable version of the blog's content but can't control who uses it. We've had several situations where people have downloaded our RSS feeds, and used them to power spam sites with our content. Each time it happens, it's been a lot of work to find the stolen content, draft a legal cease and desist or DMCA takedown notice, send it to the webhost hosting the content, and make a copyright claim. It's also upsetting to our bloggers and guest bloggers to discover that their content is being used by spammers!

So for Hellobee, we thought we'd start off by being a bit more cautious with our RSS feed. Now if someone uses our RSS feed to say, power a spam site, they won't have the full post. That means two things: 1) we're less likely to be used to power spam sites, and 2) if someone does use our content... we're more likely to find out quickly through our referral logs.

We'll continue to monitor the situation and reassess over time!

Hi there! Loving everything about this site so far!

I have subscribed to your blog via my google reader and when I read posts there, they only show about half of it and I have to click back to this site to finish reading the post.

I come to the site to read the boards multiple times per day, but it's just easier to read the blog portion in a reader because you (usually) don't have to click past the jump.

Just wondering if it's set up like that for a reason? Thanks!!
