Repost from board...

Can I make a request regarding the feature to select which boards show in your feed?

Instead of the option only being to check off the ones you want to see, can there be a "Hide All" feature for all boards in a given category?

This feature is honestly the only reason I'd ever consider paying for gold, because there's a good reason in my life right now that I want to hide posts about due dates and childcare, etc.

It's sort of annoying when new boards are created in these categories that I don't want to follow, that I have to manually go in and unclick them.

Can there please be a way that if we haven't checked the box for the entire category, that new topics under that category won't automatically appear? (Or some other way to "opt-out" of categories that are triggers for us?)

Thanks

Ok, I have no idea how hard this would be to create but - a way for a user to go anonymous for a single post, without creating a whole new account. So they could have a little check box in the "Write a Post" box that says "Post Anonymously" and it would just show up in that post as "Anonymous".

That way if people want to ask a really delicate question or announce a pregnancy or something and they don't want anyone to know it's them, they can do that without having to make a whole new account tied to another email address.

That might be way more work than it's worth, so... just a thought. :)

Hi! One thing I've noticed about posting threads that have polls is that in order to see the poll results without clicking "view" each time, the poster has to vote in their own poll. It's not a big deal, but kind of annoying if you don't want to vote in your own poll/skew the results. Is there a way to change it so that the original poster automatically sees their poll results without having to vote?

As much as I like the gold "jump" feature. I have to page back to the first page to see the poll. Can you just display the poll at the top of subsequent pages?

This is rarely a problem since most my posts don't make it past the first page but when it makes it to 2 pages I want to see the poll still! :)

I think this might be a gold issue, but when I click on a thread title, it brings me to the first unread post, which is awesome, but sometimes I want to go to the first post and I can't easily since the title brings me to the end and the list of pages start with page 2.

I'll admit that I kinda miss the 'deals' posts being on the boards. I never posted self promotion links so posting on the boards was always a great way to inform other users of great deals. But now that there's a separate 'deals' tab, I don't know if there's much traffic now that it is hidden under the 'more' tab.

Could we try to move the 'deals' tab out from the 'more' tab to see if traffic improves?

I had a suggestion for a "saved posts" section for our profiles. For example, I am researching exclusively pumping and it's a pain to have to weed through all the posts when I want to reference a particular one. It would be awesome if there was a box at the bottom of the post that said "add to saved posts" and it would go to my profile so I could easily look at it whenever I wanted for reference. This would be so much more handy than "commenting to follow." This may have already been suggested but I just wanted to throw it out there.

When I'm going back into a post to see what new responses have been added to a topic I'm interested in but don't want to subscribe to, it can get lengthy and I scroll down past the header. With the new graying out feature of threads you've read, you have to click onto the boards link at the top of the page or refresh the page once you've hit back to see the thread grayed out. That can be a lot of scrolling (maybe it is just me) on very lengthy threads. Perhaps a link a the bottom of a thread that is a scroll to top link?

I find myself going back and editing repeatedly on longer posts, and the box is too small to write the long ones easily. I know you can make it bigger, but not on a phone. Sometimes it's nice to get an exact answer to a question without all the extra conversation. Plus then there would be complete anonymity.
